Case study
Investment Content Platform (Headless CMS)
Headless CMS with built-in SEO and editorial workflows.
- Next.js
- React
- Figma
- Headless CMS
- Technical SEO
01
Context & users
An investment-focused editorial website and the editorial team that publishes on it. [TODO: who the readers are and how big the editorial team is]
02
The problem
The site needed to improve user experience and technical SEO — without developers blocking every publish cycle.
03
My role
I designed the product end-to-end in Figma and built both the admin and the storefront. [TODO: confirm scope — solo or with a team, freelance or employed, timeline]
04
UX & product decisions
Design started in Figma before any code. [TODO: research done with editors, key wireframes, and the trade-offs you made — e.g. what you chose not to build]
05
Technical solution
A headless CMS admin in React with role-based access control (RBAC), plus a Next.js storefront with server-side rendering, JSON-LD and a sitemap. Content modules and editor workflows cover blogs, categories and site-wide SEO.
06
Measurable results
A cohesive cross-device experience, structured SEO on articles and landing pages, and an editorial team that can self-serve content updates. [TODO: real numbers — e.g. organic traffic, Core Web Vitals, publish time before vs. after]
07
Lessons learned
[TODO: what you learned and what you would do differently]
